During a visit to Idaho, particularly the Twin Falls area, Drs. Haroon and Lubna Rashid were very impressed with the area’s tranquility and family-oriented environment and decided to relocate here to raise their family. Combining their skills to set up the Magic Valley Kidney Institute, Drs. Rashid are committed to providing comprehensive kidney care to their patients and their community.

Dr. Haroon Rashid

Dr. Haroon Rashid offers 10 years experience practicing nephrology in New Jersey. Dr. Rashid graduated in the top 10% of his medical school class from the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, through a combined, seven-year Bachelors and MD program. Subsequently, Dr. Rashid completed his Internal Medicine Residency training at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and then went on to complete a Nephrology fellowship at the prestigious New York University-Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, NY. Since his graduation, Dr. Rashid served as an active partner in a very busy private practice in Northern New Jersey.

Dr. Lubna Rashid

Dr. Lubna Rashid has also been practicing nephrology for more than two years in New Jersey in a separate private practice. She graduated in the top 5% of her medical school class and then went on to attend the Internal Medicine Residency training program at the esteemed St. Luke’s-Columbia Presbyterian University Medical Center. While there, Dr. Rashid was selected to the highly competitive nephrology fellowship program, which she completed while subsequently starting private practice.

Drs. Rashid offer more than 20 years of combined experience in nephrology patient care. Their specialty includes chronic kidney disease, hypertension, kidney stone disease, end stage renal disease, dialysis (both hemo and peritoneal types), CVVH/CRRT, electrolyte disorders, and renal transplant.
